Our new maths warm up game!
We have learnt how to play 10s Go Fish. All you need is a pack of cards to play. Face cards are worth zero and the Ace is worth one. Ask us to play this game with you at home!

Our very own book bus.
Each month we will have the 'book bus' visit our school. We will be able to borrow books if we have a Winton Library card. Some of our reading groups will also get to visit with Mrs Gilchrist helping them.

More fun learning for Maori Language Week
Frinz and Alfie are all concentration getting their parotitis spinning! Thanks Room 5 for teaching us this morning.
Then this afternoon we all learnt our colours in Maori with heaps of fun games Room 1 had made.
Thoughtful gift
Ruby brought an interesting object to class today - her pony tail!! She had her hair cut short so she could donate it for making real hair wigs for children. What great empathy Ruby!
